- Data collected when downloading the app
When downloading this app, specific personal data required for this purpose will be sent to the app store used (e.g. Apple Store or Google Play).
In particular, email address, user name, customer number of your account, your device’s unique identification number and the time of downloading will be sent to the app store when you download the app.
This data processing, which is carried out exclusively by the app store you choose, is beyond our control. Accordingly, we are not responsible for this data processing; the responsibility for this lies solely with the app store.
- Data collected when using the app
The app will be downloaded onto your mobile device and can be used without accessing the Internet. This means no personal data will be collected when you are using the app.
- Use of cookies
Enabling us to optimise our app on a continuous basis, we work with a web analysis service provider, Erste Brunnenstrasse 1, 20459 Hamburg (“etracker”). For this purpose, etracker uses cookies. Cookies, however, will only be used with your consent which you can give via the Consent Manager (see Clause 5) when you open our app for the first time. You can withdraw your consent at any time without this affecting the permissibility of data processing up until the time at which you withdraw your consent.
Linked up to the app you are using, cookies are text files that are stored in your terminal device’s memory while the app is being used. The cookies set by etracker collect information on the way in which you use our app and whether errors occur when using it. This, however, is done on an anonymous basis as the data collected in this way is anonymised by technical precautions. It is then no longer possible to associate such data with app users.
The data generated in the course of tracking will only be processed and stored on our behalf by etracker in Germany and is therefore subject to the stringent German and European data protection laws and standards.
- Consent management through Usercentrics
5.1 Description and scope of data processing
We use the consent management tool from Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Strasse 7, 80331 Munich (“Usercentrics”) to obtain effective consent for cookies requiring consent (see section 4). For this purpose, we have entered a processing contract with Usercentrics, under which we require Usercentrics to protect the data of users of our app and not to pass such data on to third parties. Usercentrics collects and processes the following personal data on our behalf:
- Consent data (consent ID, consent number, time of submitting consent, opt in or opt out, banner language, customer setting, template version)
- Device data (HTTP agent, HTTP referrer) and
- IP address
To store the data collected we use the cloud platform of Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., Ireland. The servers are based in the EU.
5.2 Legal basis and purpose of data processing
The legal basis for the data processing described is Art. 6 (1) f of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the legally secure documentation and verifiability of consents as well as the continuous optimisation of our app.
A further basis is Art. 6 (1) c of the GDPR. As controllers, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies contingent on the respective user’s consent.
5.3 Duration of storage
We will erase or disable your personal data as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to exist.
You will find further information on data processing by Usercentrics in the Usercentrics privacy policy at https://usercentrics.com/privacy-policy/.

You have the following rights vis à vis the controller in respect of the personal data concerning you:
- Right to information
- Right to rectification or erasure
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object to processing
- Right to data portability
Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that your personal data is being processed unlawfully.
